Avie Sheck
Avie Sheck was born in the Himalayas and comes from a long line of classical Indian Musicians - his mother, Uma, being the one to pass on the gift of music. Recently, him and his mother made waves on the internet amassing millions of plays and cosigns by the likes of SZA for their Classical Indian & American Pop fusions. Because of his father's work he also spent over a decade and a half of his childhood in India, Japan and Thailand before moving to America which substantially impacted his perspective on art. His influences span from Michael Jackson, Coldplay, and Linkin Park to Gulam Ali and Miki Matsubara to name a few. Growing up he has sang classical music with mom, played in Rock bands, RnB groups, large Choirs, and Barber Shop Quartets. Avie is no stranger to collaboration and has had previous features on Spotify Editorial playlists such as Soultronic for his vibrant and uplifting collaborative tracks with Sangarang- 'Better Off' and 'No Room for Us! Avie has also worked with producer AlchemyOnThaBeat who produced his 2021 EP Black $ummer - featuring JET THE 3RD and Candle Joseph. He also worked with Grammy nominated + Britt Award winning UK producer Boom Dice featuring Lil Esso on their single, 'Show Me More'. Today, Avie creates from Los Angeles, CA, as a full time artist, songwriter, and producer. He is excited to release more fusion with his mom as they blend sounds from the East and West.
