Michael Brun
Michaël Brun is Latin Grammy winning music producer and DJ hailing from Port au Prince, Haiti. His singular production style fuses traditional Haitian rhythms with modern pop and electronic beats. Tracks like ‘Soweto', ‘Melanin’ and ‘Bayo’ have earned tens of millions of plays, while catching the ears of international superstars like J Balvin and Mr Eazi.
Brun has remixed artists including Alicia Keys, Maxwell, One Republic, Calvin Harris and Tiesto and TIME magazine called him "a Haitian representative on the world stage". He has performed at major festivals including Coachella and Electric Daisy Carnival, co-founded the BAYO music festival and Haitian Heat playlist, launched his own non-profit festival in Haiti in 2016 and by committing himself to showcasing his country's rich cultural heritage, become a flagbearer for a new generations of Haitians. He also serves as the face of the Emmy winning Beatmaking Lab project.
