dj-Jo is a performing artist and music producer known for his unorthodox, high-energy EDM arrangements of anime and video game soundtracks that are aggressive and tastefully melodic.
Getting his start in 2009, he was heavily influenced by many Japanese-based video games, leading him to release his first Zelda remix in 2011, which led him to slowly make his name known within the video game music community. To date, he has over 25 million plays across many online platforms from just his video game arrangements, spanning titles such as "Undertale", "Breath of the Wild," and more.
His remix of "Unravel" from "Tokyo Ghoul," which he uploaded in 2014, became his breakout hit among anime fans. It received over 25 million listens online and led to two Tokyo performances for him in 2015. Subsequently that year, his joint project "Papermoon" with voice actor and anime cover artist Amanda Lee would go viral on the internet, garnering over 39 million plays on various digital platforms.
With more than 170 million views on YouTube and 126 million listens on Spotify to date, dj-Jo has established himself as a major force in anime and video game music.
