Azadi Record’s ‘Wonderboy’ Tienas - The Mumbai-based artist is a breath of fresh air in the
city's hip-hop community - bringing to the forefront a Nujabes-inspired sonic aesthetic that hasn't been seen before in a region dominated by 'gully rap’.
Tienas' ability to craft complex narratives on fluctuating, chaotic beats has seen him
enter multiple critics' lists. His debut mixtape, titled Unavailable, earmarked him as one of the
best new artists in the country. Tienas' debut album, titled 'O', released to widespread critical
acclaim in 2019, spawning crowd favorites such as ‘Cyclone', in collaboration with Delhi-based label mate Prabh Deep. 'O' signaled the arrival of a mature and introspective songwriter - one that was constantly evolving and pushing boundaries in a bid to introduce his audience to a wider soundscape. In 2020, in the midst of a global pandemic, Tienas dropped his sophomore effort 'Season Pass'. Featuring left-field, speaker tearing singles such as Fubu, and narrative masterpieces such as The Ballad of Trilodkar, the album was another feather in the cap of this prodigy.
